Paying it Forward

I'm so grateful for my education.  And, while I may not remember what was taught in my 3rd day in statistics class, I'm grateful for the experience.
My mom had a lot to do with my education and so did the rest of my family, and neighboring community.  I didn't get the importance of learning when i refused to roll out of the bed.
I did, however, when I graduated with my third degree.
Getting a degree is not a must but simply knowing the basics can empower a community and a family.  This is why I chose to donate to Pencils of Promise.

Pencils of Promise was founded in October 2008. It began with a $25 dollar deposit and a dream to provide schools to those in need of education.  It is a much needed global movement.

250 million children lack Math Skills, Reading Skills and Writing Skills.  Education is needed to empower communities, improve health care, provide higher income etc.

Proceeds from sales will benefit children of Pencils of Promise.  This is a non-profit organization dedicated to increasing access to education.”
